Day #129
June 9, 2020 – Finishing up the soffit today. The metal roofing is on site and will be installed post haste.
This will be a good day. The cottage has never had soffit and as a result we have suffered the ill effects of bees, wasps, bugs and birds. Today this comes to an end. No more bird nests and baby birds to relocate.

At this point the soffit is finished and we can proceed with the metal roof installation.
The roofing contractor is scheduled to arrive on Thursday and the weather report is looking very good. I’m not sure how long they will be here but it’s taken us quite a while to get to this point. It’s very exciting to finally arrive at this day.
